Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. She has a mother who is English while her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised on a council estate in the south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She was a student at an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. While at the academy, she appeared in several stage productions, including the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season three. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe married her long-time lover, Iddo. They worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Four of her older brothers were present as well: twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, and both in the winter and summer. Ashley never actually walked -she danced, so at age two and a half she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became a dancer immediately. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
